Summary

This webinar will provide attendees with an overview of everything they need to know about making calculations off of data found on a Certificate of Analysis. These calculations include Water Content/Loss on Drying, Assay Calculations, Salt/Base/Ester Conversion, etc.

Learning objectives for pharmacists and technicians:

1. Gain ability to correctly read, interpret, and identify a particular chemical entity reported on a Certificate of Analysis.
2. Recognize pertinent data to be considered in making calculation-based adjustments for APIs and Excipients.
3. How to interpret the data received and presented on a Certificate of Analysis and know when it is appropriate to apply corrections.
4. How to correctly make required potency corrections and adjustments in order to prepare potent and consistent compounds across various lot numbers and manufacturers.
